Delicate Sterling Silver Angel Heart necklace
Takako sculpted the little heart in wax using a fine scalpel she heated again and again over an alcohol flame. She must get the temperature just right to be able to carve the design without melting the delicate wax. Once she has created the desired design she antiques the surface to create the appearance of an ancient piece of jewelry. She signs the wax and adds her heart monogram.
The necklace is pure sterling silver 1" x .75 " cast in the foundry here in New Mexico. The 16" chain is of quality sterling silver.
